This will be fun.

So large dog crate with straw or shavings in our Gallery (which is closed this time of year and kept at about 60 F)? Clean water and food obviously. It will be 2F here tonight. Should we let him out with the girls this afternoon when we feed and let them forage or just keep him inside? Finally, and thinking ahead, any tips about re-acclimating him to outside? It's going to be frigid tomorrow.

He will have Pen and Pal to keep him company??

I would think that just one night inside shouldn't be a problem, but the vet will probably offer advise, if they are able to re-insert the penis. I'd also ask the vet what to do if it comes out and stays out again, after he is reunited with his girls.

UPDATE: Vet is not overly concerned based on pictures and video. She is going to see him tomorrow morning. Angus is moving inside shortly. The vet suggested manually putting it back in (maybe using a water-based lube). She said if it won't stay in, she might suggest a couple sutures. She wants him.isolated for two weeks.

Great job! Hope manual manipulation works. If not, sutures a great option. Definitely isolate for two weeks. Glad Angus will be ok. Keep following up with vet. So Glad for you and Angus.

Sutures generally don't stay in and then probably will last 24 hours..

This is petroleum based. Water based lubricant is KY jelly. Do not use Vaseline.
