Actually black east Indies are also solid black as ducklings, but these are definitely Cayuga's. I've bred a fair few Cayuga's so I should know

Agreed, I don't think they're BEIs. They'd be tiny in comparison to their colorful brethren!

Black cayugas and silver appleyards I would say! I love both those breeds!
