Ducks Not Laying Eggs

Have you put something where the water is? Some animal could swim under and get inside. And my female duck never laid eggs. She was almost a year old. Unfortunately she passed so I never got to get duck eggs from my coop.

So maybe your ducks are like mine and will never lay. I’m not sure why but I’ve heard of some ducks not laying

A snake could get in easily.

There might be other animals that could too, maybe a weasel?

I actually live in Northern Indiana. It is still a little cool here so I don’t think snakes would be out yet. Same thing for the weasels. And they usually lay the eggs in the water, so even if animals were getting in I don’t think they’d go under water

Yes I have the fence blocked off. I bought them as laying ducks and the first 2 weeks they payed every day. Now they’ve suddenly stopped
