Ducky's story line thread

Just when I was about to give up, I noticed something. For the moon was bright to night, but it was starting to cloud up a little. There was this dark patch, just off to the side of a cypress. My heart in my throat, I walked up to it. Much to my relief, it was a cave large enough to crawl into.

FairStep ignored the falling snow and the cold wind it brought with it, this was going to be her first winter, alone. Without her pack members to warm her, not like they did half the time anyway. The only time her pack members had helped her in the cold was when I was on death's doorstep knocking on the door. But I knew better, they didn't warm me because they liked me, none of them liked me, it was fairly obvious. They would warm me to keep me alive for another days work of hunting for 20+ wolves. She laid on the cold rock of the bottom of the cave, watching the snow. She felt tears were going to slip from her eyes but she forced them to not make it past her eye lid. She laid her head on her paws and quietly whimpered to herself. The cold stung her wet nose.

(is this like blues story thingy thread thing)

(No. In Blue's story thread you are yourself. In this thread you depict the actions of a wolf. Each person describes the next part of the wolf's journey.

(Sorry, that's as best as I can describe it.

(Yep, mine is just random what ever. )

She lay, shivering slightly, thankfully it wasn't too cold out. She curled up, tucking her nose under her tail to warm her face. She wasn't tired so she couldn't fall asleep, but she would just wait it out

I looked up as the fist rays of sunlight broke over the horizon. It's rich glow slowly warming the morning. The snow at the entrance of the cave, glistened like crystals in the light. So I slowly got up to take a look outside and then sat in the small amount of sunlight that came in. Oh, did it feel nice. I closed my eyes with gratitude for the simple joys.
