Egg hatching that still has veins pipped?

yeah its pretty much stuck as the beak looks to be 'glued' to the membrane. There are still a tiny blood vessels so im just waiting for those to dry out. It also seems to be "eating/yawning" last time i saw. a few hours (around 5 hours) back i tried to help and all the membrane in the front are gone but the ones deeper down seem to still be present and it bleed a little (thankfully clotted right away). Put the chick back in the bator right away. Ill try to see if the vessels are still present in a few hours.
You will likely have to make sure the chick is not stuck to the membrane or it can't kick free of the shell on its own. A little coconut oil would help with that; just not too much oil.

A chick can pip the outer shell and still have veins, because it is not ready to hatch. When a chick is ready to hatch it comes out of the shell. First pip, the chick starts to breathe air out side of the shell, and is still absorbing contents of the egg. And they take up to 24 hrs to hatch/finish absorbing. The fresh oxygen helps.

If someone helps too soon the chick in the egg can bleed.
still some veins around the sides of the egg which i cant see so i guess ill try in 6 hours? How long can they stay like this and continue absorbing? Its been over 30 hours since the pip. Im just worried about dehydration and the chick not making it through the night.

It is really stuck on the beak part. Unfortunately it is midnight and i wouldn’t be able to grab some until morning.

Im not sure where the blood is coming from (its not bleeding but i see red stuff), as all the veins in the air cell parts are all gone. Guessing from beside the chick?

In a pinch, any veggie oil will work. Ta apply, a cue tip might work just be careful to not use too much oil.

If i do the veggie oil will i need to re apply every hour or three like water? And when and how should i check for the side vessels? Ill wake up every hour if that is what it takes to save this little guy/gal.

No blood vessels at all on the membrane but as the chick readjusted, blood came out from the sides where the issue site is not visible. Humidity is at 70%

Something is not right. Once the membrane covering the chick is bloodless, there should be no blood as you describe. Olive oil is fine-check to be sure it is pure olive oil with no salts. Do not use any oils with salt. One application should do it. Again use very little oil. Be sure the beak and nostrils/cere are free to the air. Fingers crossed for luck.

Found out it was blood left over on the shells. Baby is trying to push out but seem to be too stuck. The beak is free but the membrane is stuck on the nostrils. The baby keeps peeping when i try to take it off. If i apply oil im scared i will drown it.

Put the oil on your index finger, then rub the finger and thumb together to get just a thin layer of oil, then touch it to the stuck membrane. Let it soak in, then rub the bit away. Since you can see the baby struggling to get free, it should be alright to help it leave the shell.

thanks! I got it off the nostrils and its breathing well. Found out it tried to push out prematurely and it still had a few drops of yolk left (not connected to veins anymore) well to be safe, i will be leaving the baby for 3/6 more hours. I feel a bit better having the nostrils free.

Would 3 hours be enough or maybe 6 just to be safe? Or would it be too long? Right now i have the egg upright in a cup with paper towels to stop it from jumping out with the chick’s head tucked back in, inside half of the shell with high humidity.
