LOL my little guys have a skill. Little stink eye skill. They look at me like I am the enemy when I put my hand in there. They run to defend each other like I am going to kill them.

I want sweet little chickies who run up my arm like Speckled Hen's.

Jump in the brooder for a couple hours and I'm sure you'll have that 2nd skill up and down your arm.

where do i find one of these spot check thermometers i keep hearing about? oh, congrats on the new babies. i have 6 eggs on day 20 starting this morning. i can't wait!

I think it was cutlers supply. but you can Yahoo or Google it. They are very reassuring.

You can get one from GQF manufacturing (who makes the Hovabator) or Cutler Supply, either one. One version is called "Egg-Temp", but it's the same unit. Takes getting used to since it registers every 1/10 of a degree instantly, not like some. My darn Flukers has read so high throughout and is useless now except as a hygrometer. And that thing cost more than the Spot Check! Good luck with your hatch, monita.
