Eggs Day 21...18 of 23 Hatched/ Pics post 76 (Superglued a Chick!)

I'll get a good night's sleep when all the babies are in the brooder and eating and drinking. Be prepared, there will be a magic marker dot, probably green, on the head of the chicks--that's how we've started identifying each one as it takes a drink on its own in these big groups of chicks that all look alike.

Since we have rain, too, I may take a nap today. Didn't get much sleep last night or the night before.

#14 is out..big baby with big feet! Came out of a huge egg, probably Kira's. Her babies are usually tanks, male or female.

thanks for the good luck wishes Cynthia. i need all the luck i can get today. it hasn't started too well in the temp department. 96. F being lowest when i woke up @6 and spike to 103+ @8:00. ugh!! anyway... i will get one of those spot checks thanks for letting me know where to look. meanwhile i will enjoy the pics of ur babies and pray for mine.

I hope you just have rain, maybe with a bit of flooding on the lower part of the mountains. Should not be that bad.

# 13 and 14 are drying off in the bator. #15 still just has a small pip and the rest are making me wait. I did go lay down, but for some reason couldn't sleep yet. Will try again later, I guess. Wish these others would pip!
