Still laying there, breathing. The little blue Orp stretched its neck over the baby's neck. It was so cute! The Orp is going to be a gorgeous shade of blue. Has lots of white around its eyes just like my very first Blue Orp girl, Velvet, did.

Ooooohhhhh, so sweet! See how they stay right there, when you have your hand in ! ! That's what I mean, they don't run to the corner and huddle ... no, they are so sweet and "cuddly!" I LOVE 'em!

Was dreading this a.m. At 3 a.m., the superglue chick was still on its side, eyes closed, moving on occasion, but apparently could not raise its head. When I looked in about 30 minutes ago, it was upright, alert, fluffed out and OK!!!!!!!!

I was sure that I'd be euthanizing a chick before my day even got started, but nope!

78% hatch rate wasn't what I wanted, but I'll take it.
