Will have to use some Google powers too, I'm unfamiliar. Regardless, baby Daxton (along with his devoted parents and family) will be in my prayers!

Springchickens-

to all of you.

For my update- Went to the Dr. this morning. Blood pressure is great, weight is up to 165.7, not too bad as far as weight gain goes. I think I only gained about 2 lbs or so since last month.

Dr. thinks/says the baby weighs about 7 pounds already!! He thinks baby is gonna be BIG! Not too suprised though, my last 2 were over 8 pounds. But Dr. made a comment about me needing a c-sec due to baby maybe being too big for me to push out. We'll see though. Im pretty good at pushing out big babies!

On the up/positive side, my cervix is softening and thinning out! YAY! That means all these braxton Hicks contractions are doing some work. AND baby is head down and on the cervix, so the pressure should start getting some early dialation going (hopefully,

). Dr. thinks maybe I will deliver in 2 weeks instead of 4, putting me and baby at 38 weeks- Im good with that! But Im not holding my breath and planning for it.

On the not so good side- hubby is still planning to go to Vegas 14 days before my 'official' due date (9-29-11), so I am having stess over that. He just wont budge. I try not to bug him or complain, and in fact when he mentions it, I just shut up, since sharing my feelings and what the Dr says isnt having any effect on his decision. I guess if I go into labor while he's gone, it'll just be his loss. I have a decent support system and people to watch the other kids in place and a few back ups, so I guess things will be fine either way. Its just a bummer in a way, but I also feel like if no baby comes while he's gone, then it will be all good and nothing to have been upset over. I guess I can handle 2 days on my own. I just have to prepare in advance to reduce my workload on those days.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers, they are very much appreciated. They haven't been letting poor Dax eat anything since we've been here, which makes it VERY hard when he's obviously hungry and rooting around for food, but they're considering letting him start eating again tomorrow!! My breasts would be just as happy as he would be! I'm pumping a lot to try to keep up my supply, but a pump just doesn't give you the warm fuzzy feeling that a baby does.

Hopefully we get the results from the biopsy back tomorrow and we can proceed from there... Thanks again, and good luck to all of you ladies who are getting close!

I'm starting to have insomnia. I have to make myself go lay down in the bed and try to go to sleep. Most of the time, it's not until 3 am that I actually go to sleep. Is there anything that helps with this? It doesn't matter how hard I work during the day - I can be busy, busy doing stuff all day and still have the same issue.

GFF -- I always get like that towards the end of my pregnancies. I'll go to sleep and then wake up at 3 or 4am and can't go back. With my first, I'd meet a friend for breakfast every now and again, as she would get out of work at 6am. That doesn't happen anymore! : ) Wish I had some helpful hints for sleeping!

Congrats on the new, precious babies!!!!!!

I have a complaint, too! When will this nausea/vomitting end? I am 14 weeks and still throwing up in the mornings if I don't take my Zofran.

Sorry, but I am very, very frustrated! I expected it to go away this past week. I wouldn't mind it so much if I just vomitted and then was okay, but no, I'll feel just awful the rest of the day. No such luck!!!!

Ask your doctor if you can take Melatonin tablets. They are very inexpensive, and you can get them at Wal-mart (or any other grocery/drug store). They are natural too, so there are no side effects. My cousin was taking them before her son was born a month ago, so I would think you can take them while pregnant.

Audrey ate and went into the farm chair thing...(it's a vibrating farm-themed chair) and I was pumping...smelled her from the big chair! She pooped up her back, out the sides of the diaper--soaked through her clothes, all of the blankets and into the chair! It smelled awful. It was the first time I almost gagged when I was changing her. I can clean the chicken coop just fine and not feel sick at all--but this poop made me want to barf!

It took about 1/2 a package of wipes to get her cleaned up...she's now in the swing. She's wide awake.
