Next week I have my first OB appointment - I think on Wednesday. We're currently 11 weeks and 4 days.

One of my friends locally here - lives on the other side of town from us - is also expecting. She's a couple weeks behind me, being due around October 2. It's kind of cool having a friend going through the same things, but at the same time not. This is her 4th child, and she's having complications already. In fact, they thought she may have miscarried, but the baby was still there doing well. She's on bedrest and supposed to be taking it easy. Yesterday she had her OB appointment - a follow up after an emergency sonogram - and I accompanied her because her husband couldn't get off work to go. I waited in the waiting room and afterwards we had lunch at Bob Evans.

Their eggs and bacon was delicious, but the homefries really did me in! I was sick the rest of the afternoon and couldn't eat anything else.

Ok, This morning I had a huge response to you about my experiance, but I pushed a button and the page went Bye Bye just before I posted, so I was angry and had to leave the Keyboard.

But basically is said:

DH and I also tried for 2 years, including 2 rounds of clomid, then gave up, switched jobs, Moved counties twice and just worked on us... Well 10 days into the new job something told me to test and to our total shock, we got the first second line of our lives!!! I stopped breathing, and DH just kept saying "What does this mean?" "Does this mean what I think it means?" and "But we don't get pregnant". So I took another test the next morning, and again got an immediate positive. Doctor confirmed it, But I still took at least 2 tests a week until our first ultrasound, because I just didn't believe it. Now we are only 10 weeks from our Due date, and it is just now getting though my head that we will have a son in just a couple months.... Oh Gawd, here comes another freak out! LOL!

Congrats, Try to Enjoy this time, I spen way too much time stressing over the What if's, and didn't really start enjoying this pregnancy until half way through and now it's almost over.
