Hey everyone! I had my appointment today. I have gained 6oz.

I got to hear the baby's heartbeat which was at 150 today.

Everything seemed okay and I have my next appointment in a month.

Well it was 120 last time (didn't hear it just saw it on the ultrasound). My friend's son was 176bpm at this age--so who knows? LOL Time seems to be going pretty fast....I am still not sure about this! LOL

Well it was 120 last time (didn't hear it just saw it on the ultrasound). My friend's son was 176bpm at this age--so who knows? LOL Time seems to be going pretty fast....I am still not sure about this! LOL

Mine was at 176 at 9 weeks.... I am 10 weeks as of today. But I go back the 28th of this month.. Can't wait to see what the heartrate is then. So yours sped up... How far along are you, 12 weeks?? I forget sometimes..

I am at 12 weeks and 1 day today. Yes, mine has sped up from 120 to 150.

I had been freaking out about the whole thing until just a few weeks ago. I spent the 1st 6 months wondering "what have I done?" and now that I can feel him moving all the time and having the baby shower coming up I feel more prepared. Now that I am not in freak out mode, my DH, who has been so excited the whole time...is now freaking out like I had been. Funny how that works.
This may be odd to say, but I thank him for coming along and straightening me up a bit (as reluctant as I was).

Anyone else actually looking forward to maternity leave? I know it wont be exactly peaceful, but it will be so nice to have that time just me and my son.
