Get some Sea Bands, seriously...they work!!! Also, eat lots of tiny meals...crackers, sip water...cheese, cottage cheese, I found that protein helped a lot...and I read somewhere to drink water after a meal and only sip it if you have to during a meal...all of those seemed to help. I lost 7 lbs in the first trimester and then another 9oz shortly after.

I had an appointment this morning--my 16 week one.

I gained 4lbs.

Which I guess is good because I lost 7 in the first 3 months.

My doctor said I should start gaining like 1lb per week through the end of the pregnancy now. My blood pressure & pee tests were normal...got to hear the heartbeat again--130 today. My dr. said if she believed in the old wives' tale, it would be a boy.

She managed to squeeze me into the special ultrasound on the 30th.

So I'll be like 19.5 weeks along.

My DH got the time off so he's going too.

I seriously hope Sara has a boy. She would be completely lost with a girl. Jennifer needs a girl because she is such a blonde it isn't even funny and she wouldn't know what to do with a boy. Kenny and Miranda can have either one as they are both clueless

Random thought.......... I have always liked roasted red bell peppers. I made chicken fajitas Sunday night that I added some to along with some green ones. Holy Cow!!! I pigged out.. They were so flippin delicious. So I made fajitas again tonight and roasted up more red peppers than I did on Sunday.. I told DH I felt like I could wrap up nothing more than red peppers in my tortilla and gobble it up.. He laughed.. I can't help the fact that obviously the baby LOVES roasted red bell peppers. Poor baby is getting blamed for everyting already....
