I hope so...I already eat pretty well....yes, I do eat the occasional (mini) Blizzard here and there....

but 99% of my weight is controlled by diet and being pretty active (not really exercising on purpose but not sitting around, doing nothing, either!)

Both of my parents are diabetic--mom is type 2, dad is type 1.

Oh, and a friend of mine failed her 1-hr tests during both of her pregnancies and passed the 3-hr tests both times, so there's hope.

So glad to hear that your baby had a good ultrasound today!! Its always nice to know that everything looks good, even if you don't get to find out the sex. A surprise isn't necessarily a bad thing either... we don't get many major surprises like that in life!

She's measuring 2 weeks ahead....the doctor moved my due date up to August 16th.

But maybe if I wait for three hours by the end, it will be lowered...I'm supposed to fast before I go in and drink LOTS of water (to help them find veins on me this time).....
