Expectant parent club! Where the pregnant people hang out.

The names I like:

Audrina Noelle
Audrina Lynn
(Audrey for short on both of those)

Audrey Lynn
Audrey Noelle

Sophia Lynn

Josephine Noelle (Josie for short)

Jacqueline Noelle (I guess Jackie for short? But I've never been a fan of that)....

Lynn is my middle name (and my mom's middle name)....

The Noelle is because I found out just before X-mas that was I pregnant....

Of your choices, I like Audrey Lynn, Audrey Noelle and Josephine Noelle the most..... But I think Audrey Noelle is my favorite for some reason.. But I like Josie for short too! Ughhh, see why it took me so long too!

LOL What name did you pick out for your own little one?

Yeah...I'm leaning towards Audrey too...but the middle name is throwing me off...I like Noelle more, I think...but Lynn is a "family" name...and neither one flows well enough for a double middle name.

We have had our name(s) chosen since before my ultrasound at 18 weeks 4 days (when we thought I was 19 weeks 5 days).

We had Nathan Elliott picked for a boy - and we had a girl name picked, and I don't want to give it out on a public forum (sorry!) but - I am thinking off adding the name Ruth as a second middle name because it's a family name, too, but I can't get a committed answer from DH.

Ruth is my Paternal grandmother's first name, my mom's middle name, and was also my mother in law's middle name. My MIL passed away in '96 and we still really miss her.

So, if I can get my Dh to agree, her initials will be P.E.R.T. lol

if he doesn't agree, P.E.T.

we don't do nicknames, so the name we give her at birth is the name she will go by.

), the first time around.
Wow! So hard to decide on a name.... We've consolidated our list to about 40 first names (none of which I'm actually sure we'll use but it's a start). Once we get to about 20 then we'll start thinking about middle names.

I know!!!! I swear it's easier to name a chicken.

If we could spend a week with our kid first, then give them a name, I think it would be alot easier.

Lol, you jest, but I've had several friends do that! You don't have to have a name picked out until they are 30 days old (but you do have to jump through a few hoops and do your own SSN paperwork and birth certificate paperwork - things like that).

Carly Sharlene. I used mom's middle name as a way to honor her memory.

In that case, I am glad to have come up with a name. I am not a fan of jumping through hoops, at all!

But I can remember my little cousin being nameless for awhile.. I was a child myself, so it seemed like she was nameless for a month!!

Okay--more nursery pics!

I got all of her clothes hung up today....50 baby hangers, total!

And that was doubling up some clothes when I could (I had a few of the same thing that came in 3 packs) and some of the other stuff is a shirt/pants/hat combo so I used one hanger for each of those.

Hank with the newly moved changing table....the hot pink thing is a stool/ottoman that has storage in it. Right now, it's housing the three quilts for the baby and her two pairs of cowboy boots.

I was able to score high-resolution "Abby's Farm" jpgs....then I paid $2.84 each for Wal-Mart to print me off 8 x 10 sized prints and I found $1.56 frames to use....so now she's got the start of her "Abby's Farm" nursery wall decor.

DH got these spaced, level & hung today.

They are above the changing table:

I also found a matching clock I'm watching on eBay.

Once we decide on a name, I'll get some wooden letters put up above the crib.

Is anyone doing a wall mural in their nursery? I have seen some I really like but they don't go with my theme very well.
sad.png
I saw one that was a tree silhouette...and another with come cute owls and stuff....

I am thinking of putting a shelf up (a white one) and using that to stack her stuffed animals on until she's old enough to have them...and I need a diaper stacker, a hamper and some sort of other storage thing for shoes & stuff....I'm thinking of some of those baskets or mesh hanging things that go in the closet....

I love the setup for your nursery so far!! Very cute!!

I'm not doing a wall mural, but I think they're a really fun idea! Are you going to do it yourself, or are you going to hire someone? The best thing about murals is that you can make them whatever theme you want - I could see a lake surrounded by horses, sheep, cows and (of course) chickens to go in your little girl's room! Maybe a few towering oak trees for shade...
