Feed sack recycling ideas??

These puzzle me. The bags my feed come in have kind of a shiny, smooth, almost waxy surface on the outside. They are tough and crinkly. I can't imagine using them for a tote bag or any absorbent purpose like poop boards! Containers for rocks, leaves, grass clippings, yes, I can see that. What am i missing? :idunno
they do make sturdy tote bags, my friend made some for me with straps for handles, also I use my bags not only to line my brooders, but hang them on the wall and staple them all on the inside walls for insulation and pretty country look I use all the different brands for and different colors, also protects the walls from poop

My husband has made a bunch of lightweight, moveable coops. He used feed bags (instead of tarps) for wind/rain protection on a few of them. He also tacked them to the top of brooders (in our garage) to keep birds from flying out; or tacked them inside brooders to create "rooms" for different breeds or hatches. We have a Lavender Orpington who decided the "roof" of one of the brooders was a great place to lay eggs. He put random boards across the top to discourage her. Every day, she just moves them and lays another egg. LOL! View attachment 1805193

That is one creative hen! I hope mine aren’t like that :)

I like your moveable coop!
