Feeding ducks

We use Mazuri Waterfowl Maintenance for our mini-flock of two drakes and five ducks. Tractor Supply special orders it for us. We offer it free choice and we also offer oyster shells free choice. In addition, our girls get eggshells most days. They may get even more excited about the eggshells then they do about mealworms! ;-)

Now that I have both ducks and chickens, including a drake, this is what I have been feeding. They also get oyster shells and eggshells on the side.

It doesn't hurt to ask at your local feed store. Many places can order you in bags of food different than what they have on the shelf. This way you get exactly what you want, and don't have to pay the expensive shipping because it will just arrive with their big order.

I have my local feed store researching for me right now to see if one of the brands they carry makes an all flock. I'd much rather buy from them than the chain store that's further away.

Chicken layer will work, but you can probably find a better option that is good for everyone.
