~<>~ Fight or Flight ~<>~ (A Wild Chicken Roleplay)

Stripe slowed so he was beside Silverfluff. He glanced around to make sure Blizzard wasn't near. "Exciting, isn't it? We're going to make history!" he whispered, barely stopping himself from hopping up and down.

Blizzard paused, hearing a twig crack. Realizing it was nothing, he ran on. We're getting closer...
When Blizzard paused in his steppes Rip nearly ran into him, but darted out of the way just at the last minute. Noting that they had crossed the border, No turning back.

Raven moved silently like a shadow, her black plumage blending in perfectly. The tiny d'Anver struggled through the undergrowth, and her poor night vision, being a chicken, was deemed useless. She felt the eyes of a night pelt on her, trailing her. "A night pelt," she hissed, in the hissy way chickens do.

Blizzard suddenly stopped, plunging down into a hollowed-out tree. He turned to address the other chickens as they filed in after him. "We are on the outskirts of Claw Flock camp." he said, his voice quiet, but firm. "We will enter the camp through an area of low shrubs, and loosely surround the main nesting area. It is on the ground. Once I give the signal, we will attack! They will never know what hit them. As soon as Goldenfeather is killed, me, Winter, or Rip will give the signal to retreat."

(What's a night pelt?)

Raven made a low noise in agreement, but she knew that something could attack at any moment. ETA: it left, but she is still wary of danger cause she's bite sized

Rip nodded to his words, hackles raised with the excitement of a coming fight

"Understood? Good. Lets go," Blizzard clucked briskly, already out of the hollowed-out tree. He shot a glance behind him, making sure they were following, and zipped towards Claw Flock camp. He pushed through the shrubs, trying to make the least noise as possible. Finally, he emerged into the enemy camp, and paused for a moment, looking around for biggest, densest, cluster of brush. Not wasting any time, he started to creep towards it, becoming one with the shadows.

Stripe followed Cloud's fluffy white tail. He shivered as he realized that this wasn't just a game, it was a real, dangerous, battle. He could be killed. Or worse... he might have to kill someone else.

Rip slipped into some brush between Blizzard and Winter, looking over to Blizzard for the signal, his claws inched to cut the flesh of claw flockers
