There isint any farming in the area i live in and craigslist basically doesnt exist here (we use kijiji) but no luck i did find a lady who has some but will only sell pairs....

She does normaly sell duckling but only late spring/summer

ok so i found a man who sells them but they are aprox 5 months old, is that an issue?
And should i get one or two? they are raised together, would it be harder for mine to get along and accepted by the two rather than just one?

I know nothing about muscovys but I just got an Indian runner drake who is 12 weeks old and put him with my 6 runner girls who are almost 2 yrs old and 8 months old and there are zero issues. Nobody is picking on anyone and they are now like 7 peas in a pod! they all sleep in the same pen and get along great.

I brought home three females into my flock of Muscovys and it went fine I’d have at least 2 to add to you lone Muscovy. That way if anything did happen to one there would still be two so no more line duck again. It will take a few days to a week till they get use to each other but they will. Are you planning on a drake and and a duck or two females asking because if your considering a drake I’d get two female so you’d have 3 females to a drake.
