First Hatch-a-long! November 2021!

Well I looked at my calendar and this evening will be day 21...but I had 2 hatch last night, and I had to assist a stuck chick this morning, who went back to the incubator... The 2 blue eggs were from AL, but the dark brown was from my hens...

The chick to the left was from my dark egg, Blue maran/frizzle NN, (No NN showing)

My other dark eggs are behind, but peeping, and there are some pips.

The white chick is from a white egg, she is number 5 ~we're half way there...the black is #4.

They are now beggining to exit adorable chick stage.

The chick's are now a month old and it feels surreal we have come this far. They are still living inside in the giant tote box brooder and custom lid my husband built. We are almost done building the chicken coop, it's been set back multiple times by the wonderful Idaho winter weather of rain and 35 degrees all day.

My daughter loves her Raven so much. Here they were cuddling today.

A few group photos from last night. They do have a brooder heater still but I remove it a few hours a day and gives them more room to run around.
