First time hatching ducklings need help!

Well they seem to have bonded with my face

Incubated ducklings do bond more to the face than anything, after all you kept peering in at them so that's the first thing they saw...

If you have additional questions or issues I would contact @attimus if possible... he had excellent luck raising a bonded Wood Duck...

I have never had that happen....All mine like fingers because I use them to teach them how to eat..
Don't hold them close to your face...Possibly they like your eyes?....Best of luck with your Ducklings....

I don't know what a navel is but I can't find their vent, the two that have this issue are ones that couldn't absorb all their yolk sac because they kicked it open, they are all eating and drinking really good. I may have discovered the secret to raising wood ducks.
