How old are they now?

Big is 5 1/2 weeks
Littles are 3 1/2 weeks

Anything I might be able to see in Big? I’ve read about quacking and tail feathers but not fully feathered yet and ... I have no idea about the noises.

As far as genetics I was told the Chocolate (Littlest) was for sure a girl ... but I just read that the Black could be for sure a boy with those same genetics? Yikes!

Little is supposedly a silver/lilac, which would be a girl but I don’t know if I trist the whole genetics thing since the woman had two females laying ...

My brain can’t figure it all out!

So even in Big the voice isn't changing yet?

I stay away from the whole genetics thing too complicated for me.

There’s a difference between the Big and Littles in voice (louder, more quack like) but it’s not a full on QUACK. It’s more of a mix between the meep and quack ... It usually only gets loud (or occasionally hisses) when the dogs peer in the brooder. Sometimes a little louder “excited” noise when they can see I’m fetching peas or mealworms.

Pick Big up and walk away from the other 2 do you get anything like a quack then..

Hmm ... from Big or the Littles?

The other day I did this and the Littles were very loudly “meep meep meeping” (super high pitched) and Big made the meep-quack noise.

I'd learn towards duck there but boy hard calls, but being 5.5 weeks old I'd say shouldn't be long before you know for sure.

I’m also thinking about names ... Charlie (the teeny brown one, get it?), Linus (big black one) and Sally (middle silver one). But I’m not certain yet ...

So cute and very EEEEEEEEE!! I love their upright stances of burb and their webs. Lots and lots.
