Does This Sound Like A Good Idea Silkie Lovers?

Recessive Chocolate (behaves like Lavender) is very common in the US in some breeds (see above). Dun (Platinum/Khaki) which behaves like the Andalusian Blue gene is very, very rare in the US.
Is Dun the same gene that causes the color called Fawn?

Ideal Poultry has had that in Old English Game Bantams for some years now:

I don't know what other hatcheries may have what varieties available, but I've kept an eye on those in case I ever want to play with that gene.

It's the same diluter.

Fawn is basically a wild type bird(either black breasted red or Silver Duckwing) dilute by I^D, two copies are called Sports. So only the heterozygous are shown.
