Well, Gil got out for a good creek walk but she didn’t want to swim too much... or really at all. Lazy day, Gil?
She attracted a wild female friend but as usual Gil didn’t approach her. Gil’s pretty happy though!

Anyways,
TSC rescues!! Welsh Harlequin And buff?!!
Wow, I forgot how much work they are when they’re little! They are all set up between Gil’s pen and the bed. I’ll post a pic of that when I get up, I’m so tired lol! They were the last one of each kind and there were maybe 10 more pekins. We got the two odd balls and we’ll see!!

@Jpat I thought silver appleyard too but hoovers only has welsch? Maybe it is silver appleyard though? I love them anyways! but the buff is a bit older. The buff will just chill but the other one is much smaller and younger. Little one just screams a lot!

Gil wasn't so sure at first but now she's just really tired because she came with us to get them, as she always comes with us to TSC! I'll document the formal meet!

I just re-checked and hoovers does have silver appleyards. That makes sense then and is defiantly what we have! Hoping for at least 1 hen!

This is definitely going to be "Gil's Big Adventure"! They are so cute and it will be nice for Gil to have some duckie friends.

They are adorable @Kkrista123 it will probably take Gil some time to get use to having some duckie friends but I am sure by the time the babies are ready for out doors they will be fast friends. Gil has become a beautiful young lady too.
