Now don't scare us like that no more! There are always going to be mean people, but if someone hurt your feelings it is usually because something Is wrong with THEM , not you!

I'm glad you've decided to stay @Chickenlover2017 . Don't forget you can PM people you trust for advice. I've had people contact me out of the blue wanting my advice. Made me feel good to think they wanted my help, but also nervous as I still have so much to learn!

I haven't entered many 'shows' lately. I used to enter all the time but we are renovating our house at the moment and I've had to hand rear two baby finches (just what I needed in the middle of renovations)! Their parents are proving to not be good at parental care, but the night these chicks hatched we had a big thunderstorm which is unusual so that may have been why two chicks ended up squished and one of the surviving chicks had toes nipped off! The 2 survivors are 2 weeks old now and doing well.

Again, glad you are sticking around.
