well, I had 5 chicks, back down to 4 . the one they bloodied passed today. one hatched today. people, I dont want these chicks. as hard as i tried for seramas and now wishing they wouldnt hatch . 3 so far. they all look the same. very tiny and yellow. the eggs were pullet sized. Its not that i dont want them, I am just tired. I dont want to tend to them. I can see depression i Tom. I am still in denial..

DD fell on a chick in the yard yesterday and killed it. My favorite one. :( A white marans.

Husband has been paying too much attention to my chicken numbers. Sold the buff polish pair yesterday, $15. Selling the other two polish, the cochin, and speckled sussex roos on Monday. That will leave 3 pullets in the tractor. My brooder babies have all outgrown the brooder. Can't decide if I should move them to the tractor, or put the EE/OE juvies in the big coop and put the brooder babies in the mini coop. Every time I mention making another housing complex husband loses his mind. "HOW MANY CHICKEN COOPS DO YOU NEED???" :lau :lau :lau

Only have to make everything work for about 3 more weeks.

step-daughter will be going home tomorrow. and the house will be very empty.

Things are going ok here. Mike is having trouble with all the humidity this summer. I am finally back to full time at work. Now if I didn't have to work with teenagers that spend all their energy making sure they don't do anything.......

I haven't mowed the yard yet this year. The landlord asked me if my mower is broke down. I guess on Thursday I should at least now we park the vehicles. The grass is not as out of control as you think because I let the horse graze the grass, but the weeds are a little unsightly!
