This thread is hilarious! We curently have two signs at our gate.

"NO TRESPASSING! TRAINED GUARD DOGS ON DUTY!"

Then about 15' in (after they ignore the first sign)

"NO TRESPASSING! VIOLATORS WILL BE BIT THEN SHOT!"

Why one sign is not enough, I dunno? And they always say "I saw the beware of dog sign, but didn't believe it." Sheesh! Now that my dog has dented the side of your car and slobbered all over the window trying to prove her point...believe me now?

SO IRONIC that you said that, because that's exactly what happened to me 2 days ago. I was like "Seriously, they even come way out here??" I mean, I am WAY out in the woods. This is only my opinion of course, but I am really bothered by any religious group that peddles their religion like a Kirby vacuum. I just don't understand the concept. When I found that Buddhism was the right belief system for me, it never occurred to me to try and convert all my friends to Buddhism, that's just silly. If they took interest and asked, sure, I would share what I know. But knocking on their door & trying to get them "on my team"? No way! Sorry, that's not religion, that's a cult.

One person a while back said that their religion was the only religion " in the world" that doesn't believe in participating in war. Seriously? And they are telling a Buddhist this. I'm like, "You really need to educate yourselves on world religions and beliefs before you go around making such claims".

And the ironic thing is, that I really wouldn't mind exchanging opinions and views, if they were willing to do that. But they are not. They are not at your house to learn anything, only to "teach you what's right". Man, that bugs me.

I don't know, but insurance salesmen showed up today and wouldn't leave. I made the mistake of backing up to look at the time left on the oven, next thing I knew they were inside my house yapping their blamed buns off and nothing I said would make them leave. I literally had to push them out the door and they still were hesitant about going... Lord, I'd hate that job, I guess I just don't like annoying people in their own houses enough to understand the mindset these people have.

I refuse to "entertain" anyone I don't know at my door if I didn't ask them to come over. I just say I'm not interested in what ever you're peddling, please get back in you car and leave and I close the door.
