jut be careful with the thermometers that the temp is on the background and not on the actual thermo, the backing can move

and that can be the reason the temp is so off ;)

Me too, Ebay seller has conveniently not responded about them all being duds

Be careful how you confront the person. Just because they didn't develop doesn't mean they weren't fertile. How far were they shipped, how did the air cells look? Might also check the shipping route. Some hubs are notoriously hard on packages.

The D'Ucccles and the Wyandottes were shipped from basically the same area at the same time, different sellers. All looked ok on arrival (other than one had a hairline crack that could only been seen when candling, could have happened in shipping or before shipping) and air sacs looked fine, let them all rest for 48 hours prior to setting in the incubator. You can see the stats on the Wyandottes as opposed to the D'Uccles.

The aquarium ones are sealed and glued, which is why I chose them, no moving around for me! Plus I am an aquarium nut so they were on my radar. :)

@Windus have you tried cracking the eggs and looking for the fertilized bullseye? That is a great way to tell if your eggs are infertile or just scrambled from shipping. I've seen a couple people on hatching threads post pictures of their shipped eggs that were clear at day 7, but appeared fertile. It would also help with evidence for the shipper should you put in a claim. Good luck, and post pics if you can! :pop

Yes, I opened them all at 10 day, there was nothing. Not bothering with a claim, I just left feedback.
