I'm back after all the Hurricane Drama! Time to get this show on the road. I set Chicken eggs today. Give me a chance to play catch up and get the ball rolling faster. Thanks for all whom joined the fun, lurkers, setters and anybody who wants to join in.
We srarted the construction of the Pumpkin Contest. The 3rd comp is very soon. Thank you goes out to all the generous donators whom contacted us. Thank you for you contributions and above all patience during my absence because of the weather scenario.

BTW-
We have found one baby chick in the backyard each day for 10 days straight! No kidding. One of my feral birds is broody and has created a chick vending machine. I PROMISE pictures! Don't know where the nest is yet. Maybe under the sun deck. Had to set up an indoor brooder at the start of this Halloween HAL conception. I thought we were doing a synchronized hatch a long, not a one chick a day/everyday since October started? I have pix! 2 passed from stress/injuries. One has a damaged eye from humidity sticky-ness-goo. But the batch is doing alright- But won't stop growing and popping out out of the blue unexpected. You can't make this stuff up! Again, pix coming!

OK, my doves have snuck 2 eggs past me and they are both fertile. Early days yet but they should be due around the 24th by the looks of them. They only hatched 1 out of 2 last time so I'm hoping they continue the trend. My society finches have also got a bunch of eggs in a food bowl they are all helping to incubate (I know they don't count but they are darn cute - not even sure the doves count). AND I have another Button quail laying herself a brood. I don't need any more babies at the moment!
