Hatching Coturnix Quail with Broody Chicken

Yay! Just 2 more weeks! I'm thinking about doing another half shell attempt in my new incubator. The NR 360. I'll be able to turn the eggs by tipping them, since there's room in there for half an egg carton. It's also much more reliable and it's empty right now...
What do you think? I don't have to try it, just thought it might be cool to try again since they'd be the only eggs in there. I got so close last time.

That's what I'm thinking. I feel so bad when/if they die though. I really want to see it work. I think I'll keep humidity pretty high, no saran wrap, and turn the eggs (tip them) 5 times a day so they don't get stuck.

Only 9 days left!!! I have one that hatched in the incubator early. It’s siblings are now just hatching... Sonic has been out for 3 days. I’ve really bonded with this little guy!

When I lived in N.M. I heard some wild quail, and was absolutely enchanted by the sound of the coo's that they make (just males?) It was a stunningly beautiful, sweet sound. I have wanted some ever since. I was hoping this long video would include the voice ... but alas, it didn't. Can anyone else capture the song of the quail?
