It's a good idea to keep lube jelly on hand for these things. Vaseline type products are not the ideal anymore.
Neosporin is good if there is an open wound.

I just checked on her and so far...so good.
Its funny, when things like this happen you don't have time to think. You just do it and think about it later. After I saw the word CULL, I put it in my head that I would do anything I could before that. No matter what.

Hay! this is what you do// Get your hemoroid stuff mix with your antibiotic cream equal parts. It will numb/skrink and treat at the same time. Is she an older bird? I lost my lil Quaker to this at 15 years. The egg just won't come out. If you have a lil mineral oil in a syringe and insert it it her egg hole "CAREFULLY". This will internally grease everything hopefully it will slide out. This will probably help put off the "you know" for a while at least. Good luck!
