HELP!! 4 DAY OLD DUCK HAS SWOLLEN FOOT

I have never seen anything quite like that... it actually looks like blisters... what is their heat source? Can you post pics of their setup?

I too was thinking blisters or burns. Now after hearing that the children were using a blow dryer on them, I'm thinking they used it on their feet and burned them possibly. Those things put out up to 110 C on their highest settings and if held facing one place too long can easily cause burns.

Another idea is maybe the area under their heat lamp is getting too hot and they are walking on it and getting burned that way.

They have a tubby with heat lamp

How hot is the lamp? How close to them is it? It *might* be reflecting back up from the bottom of the tub...

Also, is their tub on a heating vent?

Blow dryer could have caised it too, lowest heat setting when using those...

Do you have any aloe vera? I would try that on their feet and see if that gives them some relief... or burn ointment? If an ointment, maybe a loose wrapping over it, don't want them eating it...

This is all really good advice. Also if you use a burn ointment, make sure there is no pain relief stuff in it, anything ending with -caine. It can have a bad effect on birds.

Yep, that's a blister alright. They were burned somehow.
