HELP HEN LAYING FERTILE EGGS WITHOUT A ROOSTER!

I don’t have a rooster, not even in my main flock and she has never been around one.

That is not the same looking bullseye that I’m used to seeing in my fertile eggs. I’ve always seen a very clear distinct ring around the center, which I don’t see in this one.

I have a silkie hen that just started laying and I’m pretty sure her eggs are fertile. I do not have a rooster and she is currently separated from the main flock (I separated her a couple weeks ago) because she was getting picked on. Is this normal? Has anyone ever had this happen to them? Are the eggs able to be hatched?

I don't think the egg will be fertil if there's no rooster. Impossible we are still not that Digital I'm sorry

But maybe that's not an fertil egg or u mistaken takes it as fertile fingers cross

Funny you should ask, I posted the same question oh about a year or so ago. Same thing, dot appears to be a fertile egg laid by a hen with NO rooster around. Boy did I hear it! Lol, I believe that freaks of nature do happen, we both have one.
As far as, if it would hatch out a chick, well I didn't bother to fire up the incubator to find out, I'll never know for sure but she's still laying those "appear to be fertile" eggs here.

The one right at the front looks to have very big red wattles compared to the rest.. U sure that one isnt a undercover brown dude bro? The wattles look very male to me..

Can't have fertile eggs without a rooster, period! However, you can have a rooster you think is a hen or if you got the hens as pullets or adults and they were with a rooster, it's possible the hen has stored the sperm.
