I sure fill for ya.

I've went through a lot of stomach issues from stress too.

I'm drinking about a quart of kefir a day.I get the Lifeway strawberry here. There are many brands but this one does not have a lot of sugar and it sure goes down well. It's cold and very soothing for a stressed stomach.

A few yrs. ago I had to drive through Atlanta,Ga. The panic rose up in me so bad trying to drive that big hwy that I almost couldn't breath. I remembered I had Rescue Remedy in my pocketbook. I cant remember how many dropperfuls I had to take but it was a big help. I put a link to it below. It is natural.

I wish I could think of something else. I hope things get better for you and hubby too.

About the kefir. For breakfast I mix kefir, nuts and quick oatmeal in a bowl and eat. You might try this but start with very small amounts of the dry ingredients until you see how your body responds.

I too believe all Rescue Remedy is alcohol-based. I use Lily of the Desert brand "stomach formula" aloe juice when I lose my appetite due to stress - it feels very soothing to an upset stomach. Fresh ginger can be grated and added to hot water for tea (no need to drink the pulp). Best wishes.

Where can i get kefir?
Don;t recal seeing it anywher local but i don't get out much because of the farm.

Man we can sure relate about the driving bit as i have gotten older it becomes harder for me to drive i hate it, in my younger days i drove new custom trucks i did myself as i worked at a body shp for 15 years, i did show and all now i could care less even about the wonderful memories its a funny thing now that i think about it.

Posting her to all your replies have has helped me a great deal and it's dark now and i sem to calm down in the dark as i love nightime when all is safe and sound with the animals all together with the dogs keeping watch over them, it takes my worries away.

Thank you for your post it has helped me relate.

Mabe Gods message was here all the time, i just need to reach out to folks sometimes.

I started to when all this first started but just felt i would be winning but mabe it is just my independent nature and wanting to do things by myself cause i have always had to no matter how hard they were.

In my life outside here i have no friends except my family and that is a very small circle to ask so much of.

Okay, I've been searching for kefir in your state. It made me remember I had a hard time finding it for myself.lol

The 2 brands I could come up with that are nationwide are Lifeway and Helios. I tried to link the brands to this post but I'm still learning that trick.

Anyway for some very rare reason I can buy the Lifeway Kefir here and I'm in a very remote place and most the ppl here have never heard of kefir.

It will be in the dairy section as it is cold. I'm lucky enough to get it at the grocery store but most health food grocery stores would carry some brand but it would cost a lot more.It is very healthy and has a lot of probiotics.

There are different flavors but the strawberry works for me.
Another thing I signed up with Lifeway on their website and can print 2 $1.00 off coupons each month. Can always use help.

BTW I checked out the Rescue Remedy and they do have some w/o alcohol.

Have you ever considered talking to a professional about how to handle your anxiety issues? They may be able to teach you some coping skills.

You mentioned that you have to feed the dogs at night. Why not switch them to the morning, and then you have all day and the night to spend with your DH. Maybe you could stay with him a night or two and cut down on some of the travel.

I'm sorry I'm not a sugar coater, I tend to be direct ...so... you need to learn to cope with these issues so they don't control and consume your life, especially when your stress levels are higher. I had issues when I was younger, so I can sympathize, but I've learned not to let so many things bother me or to get so out of hand where I cannot control how it affects me. If you don't it will just snowball on you and then something bad could happen, an accident, you get really sick, start drinking again etc.... you need to get a grip on yourself if not for anything but your DH sake and your own health and sanity!

I hope your DH gets better soon and make it a point to take a few minutes out each day and just care for your self! Maybe meditation would be helpful!

My dogs can only be fed at night time as the free rangers will eat all the food i put out as i have 100's of them here so i feed just after dark and again just before dawn.

I am staying with my DH for 2 nights and then back home, then back to the hospital the next day, that's the best i can do at this time.

Professional help is a thought but at this time i do not know how i could fit one in if i could even get an appointment on such short notice.

You don't have to sugar coat anything i do not need that nor do i want it, i came here for ideas and have gotten some good ones.

I finely fell asleep around midnight and woke up at 2 am starving and no stomach ache so i got up and grabbed a bit half asleep and went back to bed before i got really awake, so i feel better this morning.

Getting everyone feed up and heading back out around 9 pm so i will be back in a couple days to check the post which has helped distract me.

Thanks you for your post.

I'm so glad you reached out! Of course it's not whining when you have real issues going on! I only wish we could be there in person to help out. Just know that you and your husband are in our prayers.

God bless. I hope your husband is home and healthy, soon!
