HELP! I assisted a duckling before internal pipping!

Pics
Yes many eat Pekin. They also make good pets. I have had ducks since 2004 and we have never eaten one they are my pets with eggs as a nice treat. Not saying it’s wrong it’s just not something I am interested in. Extra rooster we have had to process though.
By the way,
I won't be going to the store to buy ducklings and chicks today or tomorrow because today is Sunday so it's a holiday and these shops are closed, and tomorrow is monday, but it is a holiday here since a new islamic year (also known as hijri year) started today, so they gave a holiday tomorrow. Thus, I will have to wait till Tuesday to go get them hopefully. I am however contacting one of the sellers to see what he has.

He said everything he knows about the ducklings, the one he said he thinks is called a runner is what he described as the egg duck, and he said that it lays 180-200 eggs per year. I think it's not a runner because I heard runners lay more, and the picture doesn't really match with the other pictures as runners seems to stand up more in the google pictures I see compared to the picture he sent.

As for chickens, he said he has AKK, AKA, and AKJ breeds, which are:
Ayam Kampung Kacuk, Ayam Kampung Asli, and Ayam Kampung -something that he still didn't tell me what it is but it starts with J-

These names are in Malay, Ayam in malay means chicken, Kampung means village. So Ayam Kampung means Village chickens, and it is a known breed that is known online as Ayam Kampong with o instead of u. But the difference between these I am not sure because all are from the same original breed. Asli means original, and apparently Kacuk means crazy. So crazy village chicken and original village chicken and something village chicken. All are from the same breed though so I don't think it really matters, and I don't know what the last letter of the breed short name changes. Like RIR is Rhode Island Red and RIW is Rhode Island White, but all are Rhode Island at the end, so I don't think it changes much.

I just realized I typed quite a lot...

It is very interesting to hear what others have as far as poultry in their country. It sounds like you have quite a few choices in ducks and chickens. Here are some of my Runners I like this breed they are good egg layers. My goose is in this picture and a couple Buff Orpington ducks. The black one in front is my oldest drake he is 8 yr old. The 2 going up the hill used to be solid black but as they are aging are turning white. You've done a lot of research that is always a good thing.

Ok so I will probably buy the ducks even if I am not sure if they are runners or not and find out later when they grow up.

Believe it or not, I couldn't, and still can't spot the goose between these ducks. If it's the gray and white one in the middle then it really looks like a duck from another type.

I have a rooster that has been living in mt garden for around 6 or 7 years, and was a large adult since I got it, so I think it's around 9 or 10 years old. He got sick because he is old and didn't kept getting tired and sitting, but we gave him electrolytes and he's active again. I don't think he will live that long, and for some reason he isn't fertilizing the eggs, so I need a replacement which means I need atleast a rooster to grow from the chicks I pick up. Nice knowing that you also have a drake that is 8 years old.

Yes the large bird gray and white is a Toulouse goose.

My Game rooster was 14 when we lost him to old age. He was such a nice rooster. I have a tiny OEGB rooster He can't mate any of his hens since he is so tiny and they are so fluffy.
I'm glad you were able to help your rooster.
II have 3 Muscovy females left of my Muscovy flock and they are females that are 13 yrs old. I've heard Muscovy can live to age 20 so far mine get around 12-13 and I lose them to old age.

Looks to me like you have a good choice of ducks to choose from I look forward to seeing them when you bring them home.

Nice.
The rooster living to the age of 14 seems amazing!
My rooster probably will need to be replaced even if he lived because all the eggs I am getting from my chickens are infertile. Last time I started getting fertile eggs for a while, I know from the shape of germinal disc when breaking the egg to eat, and so I incubated some, but nothing changed in them. I later opened them and some were fertilized yet didn't start growing. I think something is wrong with him.

Yes, they seem nice. But the seller responds so slow and responds to one question I asked and leaves many others unanswered so I don't know if I will be able to buy from him at the end, or if he will keep making it take a long time. One is muscovy and the other is pekin which both seem nice, but the last one, he guessed it's runner but isn't sure what it's called online. I guess the only way we know is try. He said it lays 180-200 eggs though which seems good so I guess I might try all three. Most other stores only sell muscovy.

My rooster wasn't fertile probably his last 7 years or so. But he was such a good rooster always looked out for his hens and was so good to his chicks. One day maybe next year I'll get more hens and a nice rooster. I am down to 6 hens and 1 roo now.

I will say this about Pekin since they were produced as a meat bird they can have lameness and niacin deficiency because they grow out very fast, so if you go with them it will be important that they get a niacin supplement most likely all their lives to keep their legs strong.
It's important for all ducklings to have adequate niacin from the time they hatch until at least 10-12 weeks old so they don't come down with a niacin deficiency.
At least maybe if not too far away you can go and look at this persons ducks and see if there are any you might like. If the pictures you shared are truly his they looked healthy.

My rooster looks so beautiful, and he really takes care of his hens. One time I carried one of the hens and he attacked me. The reason I carried the chicken was because it was very cold and I wanted to put it under a shade since it was raining, especially that it is a white cornish chicken, and it was shivering or atleast felt like it was vibrating when I touched it. I like my rooster, even though every time I get out to the garden, he makes angry sounds, and for some reason start plucking of grass and throwing it infront of me.

For niacin I bought electrolytes special for poultry and calves and cattles, which include a lot of niacin (I think it was 500,000 mg niacin but I am not sure right now), and it is supposed to me mixed in the water they drink.

The picture I shared were not his. I found it online when I googled the name "egg duck" in chinese (he is chinese and he sent me the name in Chinese as well). Although to be honest he never said these are his, but said this is the breed.

For some reason, he keeps skipping some questions and not answering them like: "how many ducklings you have? Did they hatch already? When can I come to get them? What is the price? Also, how many eggs does this breed usually lay per year?", then he only answers the last question and ignores the rest. When I ask him any of the other questions, he reads it and doesn't respond. I don't know if at the end he will start answering or not.

I asked him when can I come, he said: "You tell me when do you want to come, but I need to know how many ducklings you want."
So I answered: "I don't even know the price of each yet, can you tell me the price?"

He read it, but it's been like 4 hours he didn't respond anything.

Hopefully, you'll hear something from him soon. I know it can be frustrating.
He is still not responding until now. I wouldn't wait any longer. I plan on buying some today, so I will just go to the same shop I went to last time which only had muscovy, and I will buy muscovy, and any other breed if I find. Let's hope I find the best types for me.
