HELP! I assisted a duckling before internal pipping!

I saw maybe one of the others pulled it out, sometimes they aren't perfect but as long as they are healthy. Unless your planning to show them?

I noticed something today, unrelated to what we we're talking about before.

I realized that on of the ducklings has a gap in its tail which looks kind of like a v to the inside. I attached a picture of its tail and a picture of a tail of another duckling. This is the only duckling of these three that has this.

Maybe this is just that the feather didn't fully grow yet, but I thought I wouldn't lose anything if I ask here @Miss Lydia .

People can take their poultry and a judge will look at them and see if they match up to what the breed is suppose to look like if the birds does match up to the breed then they can win a ribbon 1st place down to 4th place. There will be many ducks and chickens and geese that will be trying to win. They will also have best in show too.

Oh. I've never heard such things. No, we don't have these in Malaysia. By the way, yesterday I bought one more chick, also Ayam Kampong. It has a lighter color though. It seems more friendly, and comes to me rather than running away from me. The other chicks didn't attack her and they slept in the same box without any problems, but the two I had before still walks alone, so they didn't accept the new chick between them yet.

I bought it because I passed next to the shop and so that there is a lighter color of it and thought I would bring it in, and I didn't find another breed at that time.

My chicken seems like it wants to get broody, it has 4 eggs, but for some reason it sits a bit then leaves it. While it is sitting, if I come near it makes weird noise, and it's been plucking off some of its feathers. Sometimes I see that another chicken is sitting on the same eggs while the first chicken was away, it didn't make that sound but if I bring my hand near it it attacks it. The problem is I haven't built a home for the chickens yet (the old home got broken and abandoned long time ago), and so they sleep in the same place they lay eggs, and all of them lays eggs in the same exact place right now. So at night, it can't easily sit on them as everyone else wants to sleep there. I made another place for laying eggs (not a proper nesting box but a shade with some boxes under them), but they're not using it yet. I am not sure what exactly I should do, but I feel like I have to build the house already. I was thinking of buying some leghorn fertilized eggs if my chickens got broody for more than 48 hours.

I love the coloring on your chicks so pretty. Well it is going to be hard for your hen to hatch if everyone wants to sleep in the same nesting area. Are they inside protection at night or don't you have predators?

Long time ago there were predators here and at that time they had protection, but an animal that looks like a crocodile but walks a lot outside water ate one of my chickens, and ate the leg of another. Also there was a racoon that tried to attack my chickens but failed because we turned on light, and it hates light. Since then we always keep light on. Now, I think the government already removed many trees and caught many animals to remove dangerous animals from the place, so it's been many years I have never seen them near. Right now they are safe, they sleep in a place quite near the light, under a shade and so they feel quite safe. But I definitely want to build them a very safe house, hopefully soon. Currently, I am building a house for the ducklings and chicks.
