HELP! What can i use for my run????

so I am trying to find the substitute for chicken wire. I am making a HUGE run that they will be in all the time (I will still lock them up at night). I need something stronger than chicken wire but cheaper then hardware cloth. HELP!!

Welded wire.you can buy it at Lowe's or other places that carry fence wire.like tractor supply.

Don't skimp. After you lose some chickens and have to repair holes where predators have broken through you'll end up spending the same money anyway.

Get the hardware cloth. Next year at this time you'll still have your chickens but you won't remember what you spent on the hardware cloth. If money is really a problem, start with a smaller run and add on to it next year.

the welded wire is just as strong if not stronger, we have some around our fruit trees, but I didn't even think of it!

Whatever you feel is best and can't be super easily broken.
