Here we go again - I'm hatching more goslings!!

Thanks Iain, yep tomorrow is day 10 in transit which puts all of the eggs 11 days old or older. No word from seller at all after yesterday. Time will tell.

Poor Iain and Celtic. Now I'm stuck hatching goose eggs alone.

And I thought it would be so cool to be hatching buddies with you two. Ah well, life goes on.

Celtic - Please tell me if they were able to resolve or solve your husbands medical issues. I've been thinking of you all a lot.

Iain - Are you really gonna eat your eggs? If so, I recomend a quiche. You might as well make a dish worthy of $35 eggs. Tell me if you need a receipe.

Your really not gonna try to hatch them? Wow, I guess in my foolish goose ignorance, I think that if a goose can wait for 2 weeks, I'd stick them in anyway. They might have sat in a nice cool warehouse for 4 or 5 days, just hanging out. Of course, you and celtic know a lot more about geese than me. Just saying, even if only 1 or 2 hatch, you'd have something to show for it. Of course, if none did, youd be P.O'd.

I have an Ancona egg that was laid on 2/10 and stuck in the incubator on 2/25 after shipping. It's one of mine that is developing. I would give it a shot. Besides--I would rather try to hatch old eggs than eat old eggs!!!

And, I said I am eating my money, not the eggs. I had hubby set them in bator, but I have serious doubts they will develop.

a little note goose eggs can be held for 21days before setting i have hatched them even older

Your not eating the eggs, I issued you a FULL REFUND....please keep me posted on development and what you hatch out, I would still like to know if you get a BUFF!!!
BTW: were they still wrapped up nice and tight? Did you candle them before you set them to see if they were detached??
