Has anyone had any success with hatching duck eggs with a homemade incubator? I've heard lots of stories that aren't successful. :(
Pictures? Tips?

I had much the same question as you. I really wanted to use an aquarium for my incubator because I could clean it out and if i needed to I could soak the bottom safely with water and not worry about injuring anything so long as I did not put my eggs on the bottom directly.

I have pictures and the tale of my adventure making it here:

So Far it has kept temp wonderfully though the incukit I got was a little small for the container I used. I ended up adding in two heat lamps on a dimmer at a percentage of the power so that there would be NO danger of it over heating the incubator. I am coming up to my third full week inside this incubator. I like it. I am finding it a little small for adding a egg turner that I want to add and am already planning out the next adventure of my incubation design so that it can fit an egg turner. I did have a bit of humidity seepage at first so i just covered the whole top with foil and called it a day until I can get plexi-glass cut to fit the top how I want to hold it in better.

Hope this helps and have fun on your journey.
