Humidity help!!

I'm using a janoel 12 incubator and on day 26 trying to hatch my duck eggs. I checked the humidity last night and it was fine at 70%.
I just checked it again and it was down to 50%. So I added warm water to the bottom.
I can't seem to get it to stay up.
What do I need to do?!

I'm not sure... Lol my incubator is in the basement... I didn't have any problems the first days.

Can you try moving it to a different spot in the house? Like maybe the counter in a bathroom?

Theres only a few days left...So I'm not sure.. What is the highest the humidity can be?

Can I add that to the top? I don't want to move the eggs too much..lol

i have added water through vent hole on top but don’t like to because afraid that it may wick over into the electrical....considered running tube or syringe through it for more accuracy.....but i just carefully lifted lid from the side and poured it in.
