I feel ya on that! My lungs suffer when the air is bad too.

And microbes, fungi, etc can hitch a ride on those winds... dust is a complex mixture.

Your stores or gas stations dont have a supply for ice? Dont they have generators? I know when irma and maria happened they didnt habe light for a couple days but they eventually had their generators running. Lol the lines for ice were out the door.

I ended up with three but two died last week so i only have one the one in the pic. S/he has been having my attention almost daily (its calling for me right now). I cant wait for the chicks to arrive so its not lonely anymore. I hope this storm leaves and i get my chicks on time.

So now Beryl is a category 1hurricane. Still doesnt show it hitting us except for the bottom tip of the island but i still dont think it will get us. But i am curious as to wht idealpoultry will do when it comes to shipping my chicks. they are suppose to arrive next thursday or friday and thats cutting it kinda close to the storm.
