Hurt leg, or symptom of MG?

Hey there, so I have a 10 week old Auricana/EE that out of nowhere started having an issue with her right leg the thigh part sticks out more than the other one, looks like possibly could be inflammation? She still walks and runs on it but it's more of a hobble. I checked the bottom of her foot nothing there, felt her whole leg, didn't feel any broken bones. A few have MG (sneezing, watery eyes, my Lavender Ameraucana has a rattle) I started treating them with Tylan 50 last night. Anywho, just wondering from seasoned chicken owners what they thought. I read that MG could cause swollen joints, so not sure it's that and will go away with the full Tylan treatment or if she hurt it somehow

That does not look like an infection it looks like it is broken.
Can you take it to the vet?

Is it the only one with leg problems? Were samples taken to confirm MG? Can you have the bird seen by the vet who prescribed the Tylan? Mycoplasma gallisepticum rarely causes joint disease, but Mycoplasma synoviae causes mild respiratory signs as well as swollen and infected feet and legs.
From the photo, all I can say is it could be due to injury or infection. I'm sorry I can't help more- best of luck to you!

Yes I know it's an Easter egger that is why I put /EE. It was sold as an Auricana

We have felt it several times and it doesn't feel broken anywhere, and it moves fine ‍

Look up "varus valgus deformity" in poultry. That looks similar to that or a slipped or ruptured hock tendon. If it is not that, I would suspect a leg injury.

Thank you, upon inspection last night I'm pretty sure it's the hock join. There are no broken bones, we carefully felt both legs and they both felt the same. The only difference was the hock joint

Here are some articles to look over. The hard thing to do is to figure out what deformity you are dealing with. In many hock deformities, the hock can become sore and swollen from pressure, and the skin can break down. Many unfortunately have to put chickens down for some of these problems below:

x2 on slipped hock
Some birds fail to develop a deep enough groove in the tibia/metatarusl head so that it is easy for the tendon to slip off.

It can be corrected, but unfortunately, if the groove is not deep, it will also slip again.

Eggcessive gave you excellent literature to read.

One article I read also indicated a lack of Manganese could be at the bottom of it...although if your bird is on chick start or a poultry all flock, it is unlikely that is the case.
