I bought some battered ducks. Need to rehab!

I found a gaggle of 25 Pekin ducks on craigslist for $150. I figured that was a great deal! So we drove out last night to pick them up. They are approx 13 weeks old (easter ducks)..

Ugh..

They are battered, brown, and small. Poor critters. I will post some pictures later of my pekins side by side with a few of the "new" ducks.

I plan to give them plenty of water, sunshine, and fresh locally ground 21% protien mash.

How soon can I expect their down to come back in? Will their growth be forever stunted? Will their egg laying be delayed?

I don't have much experience with battered ducks!

Hi. Just subscribing.
I have one slightly smaller duck that is my favorite but I worry she needs to be bigger so I want to see if someone mentions a way to aid in growth.

You can see the big snow white ducks in both pictures. They are the "control" group, they are teh same age as the new little battered pekins.
