I need help with chick food please.

If you can get better chick starter from your friend, I would use that instead.

For the food you showed pictures of, I would probably return it to the store or give small amounts to the big chickens as treats.

For the chicks, a proper chick starter would be MUCH better than the food that is a mix of seeds. (But the mix of seeds would be better than no food at all, if you are stuck and cannot get other food for them. If you have to feed that mix, try also giving the chicks some cooked egg, or meat or fish or bugs.)
I asked her about The food and she said its just big chicken food that she crushed smaller. I think the food is a grain mix not sure 🤔 and I think she gets it from kei seeds too. The lady at the store told me it’s chick starter and it looks exactly like the food I gave my lohMann Browns when they were babies when crushed . But i guess they lied. Will try and convice my dad to get a big bag. Thank you.

Yeah. I know the breeder and he would not sell me unhealthy chicks. I will try and contact them. what could have causes malnourishment. Thanks.
But you didn't see malnourishment what you saw was slow growth. Not the same thing in my opinion.

I'm not saying they sold you unhealthy chicks or even that they are wrong about the feed stunting the growth.. I'm saying Sometimes it's more complex then it seems on the surface.

Did you lohmen browns have stunted growth also?

People do make mistakes all the time. It doesn't always make them a liar.

Can you contact the company and inquire about the mix you've bought? Obviously they are your big player in the feed over there. Google says they're closed until Friday morning..

the chicks hatched yesterday.

I can’t find any other growers mash any where else they are all sold it really big bags and my dad dose not want to get large amounts. The food my adult birds are eating is pellets could I add that in with this one.
No, the pellets are too large for chicks. Tell your father please to get the large bag of grower mash, or to find "chick starter." Agway carries chick starter in smaller bags. but unless you only have two or three chicks, you will eventually go through the whole 50lb bag, and it is much cheaper per pound in the large bag.
What you have there is scratch grain and wild bird food, a treat for adult chickens but not an adequate diet even for them.
