Incubating Geese Eggs

Pics
What breed? and I'd set them up where they can see each other but the month old can't get to the gosling until the gosling gets strong enough to handle the ducklings shouldn't take too long. in the mean time give the gosling a non breakable mirror and a stuffed animal.
The Indian Runner Ducklings will be three months on Christmas Eve. I gave him a mirror but he’s so big that he towers over it lol. And he loves his stuffed animals.:love Thanks for all the help!

When you get them if you do just intro slow so the Runners don’t mow him down Runners are such cool ducks I have 5 and love them to bits one thing if you get the Runners they’ll keep the gosling warm. Once they all get use to each other. I’d get at least 2 or more Runners so if your other goose eggs hatch your Runners will have each other when the geese bond.

I might be forced to get them:lol: with all his screaming I feel so bad but I try to just keep him in my lap while I study. If I go to eat he just calls for me but eventually he calms down. I’m just hoping the other two geese make it:fl

Solo goslings are very hard to care for, since they are expecting to be physically attached to you 24/7 and suffer greatly when alone. I would use a rectangle milk crate for a movable pen, so that you can carry baby around and set next to you. That will help.

If you can afford it, Metzer sells pekin duck babies year round and you could have a pair of day old babies by next Wednesday to brood with your gosling. I had a solo gosling hatch on Christmas day 2 years ago, and got a pair of ducklings 2 days later. Both ducklings survived trip and my gosling loved his duckling buddies.

I feel so bad and am desperately looking for baby ducklings. He is getting so big now and his voice is definitely louder. I’ll look into the Metzer farms ducklings and try to get them asap, he is just so lonely.
Also an update, one out of two eggs stopped developing:(. I think maybe because momma and papa goose were both a year old, hatch rates are incredibly low.

Do you think it's ok to start him on pine shavings?
I accidentally got time released niacin so I'm going to get nutritional yeast in a few days once I find it.
