Gold is now at $1,543.50. What will happen when the major oil producers want to be paid for their product in Renmimbis? What if the all the stuff the Chinese are dumping in the US market has to be paid for in their currency?

For what it is worth, I have a small fortune in the old Nationalist Chinese currency laying around. I wonder if it will ever be worth anything?

I keep seeing references to the gold in Fort Knox. When the US decided to remove itself from the "gold standard" here was no more reason to keep gold at Fort Knox or any where else for that matter.

I think he finally got sick of a small segment of our citizens showing the whole world that we don't take education very seriously and that a POTUS actually has to take 3 minutes of his valuable time to debunk a really stupid notion. I guess from now on if you are thinking about being POTUS you need to have at least 2 or 3 witnesses at your birth because if all you have is the standard form that your state issues some idiot on TV or radio will make a big deal out of it. Especially if you have a slightly different name. Or even worse.

Wouldn't it be a hoot if we elected a person from the conservative side. Then 3 months later found out they were oriented differently than the majority of people? They would have to spend billions to find a cure.
