You guys frost your brownies?
That's something my family never did growing up and it seems like overkilled to me. But Diego said his family always did it and it seems good to him to not have frosting on brownies.

No frosting. Sometimes we'll put powdered sugar on them but not all the time

they don’t taste like much of anything, they had a wonderful crunch to them.

Water chestnuts are interesting little things. I’ve never had them until recently, and while to me, they don’t taste like much of anything, they had a wonderful crunch to them.

Try soaking them in wine. I use Kooksoondang Makkoli Raspberry Rice Wine.
