Bout 90% sure you have a hen....very tiny snood for 7+weeks, the amount of feathers growing in up the back of the neck and thin legs all make me think she is a hen.

No displaying and no puffing would also point to not being a tom or jake whatever you wanna call it. i've never heard a tom cluck but when your in a yard with chickens, roosters, ducks, guineas, geese, turkeys, pigeons, peacocks, a pig, goats, sheep, dogs, and kids....unless you know what to listen for you and need to you dont really pay attention lol. Thats at my friend kevins house btw not mine lol...he has 3 full grown toms, one has a crush on me and struts around me displaying and making that "thump" sound trying to get my attention its actually really cute to watch him.Oh goodie! I hope you are right. Also the fact that I haven't seen any displaying should be another hen indication, right? The feet and legs seemed relatively much bigger early on, but not so much now. I very much appreciate your help. Thank you! One more question, if you don't mnd... I have heard her clucking quite a bit lately, but the toms do that too, right?
Well, I had a terrible hatch. I believe it was due to using these mailed eggs.
I have the Janoel PACKED with eggs right now. Set at 37.2 and development is steady and I have had no losses! Lockdown in 7 days.
How are the ducks?
How are the lavenders?
Thanks! She is a sweetie! (still assuming she, since I still have yet to see any tom characteristics). )Adorable!-Kathy
Can't wait to see these babies!! When did you set them?
