I have a pip!!!!!!! And still not home. Hopefully she wait to hatch!!!!

Still no pips for me....but, I heard cheeping when I pressed my ear up to the bator this morning. Someone has internally pipped at least! I'm just glad to know someone is alive in there, but I do wish I could get some pipping action! Come on, babies!!!

I'm right there with you @FreedomFarm13 and @junior67 ! Cheepers are stressing us parents out! Little Wyandotte has been cheeping and rocking around. It's killing me not being able to open the bator to see any pips and candle.

Yeah, I really wish I knew which one was cheeping. There's no rocking around or anything, so I can't tell. I think it's one of the bbs eggs though, since I hear it best from that side of the bator, but who knows? I wish she would just pip do I know which one it is. Only hear one baby, as far as I can tell. It's killing me!

The little lavender that Estelle tossed out of the nest yesterday didn't make it.

And only one has hatched so far this morning...another lavender. So far it's been one single keet hatched out per day, which is really weird.

I'm so, so sorry. Poor thing.

Is it normal for chicks to be breathing really hard? My W-dotte has been pipped for almost 24 hours and she hasn't made any progress. She's breathing pretty hard and she stopped cheaping a while ago. When she was cheaping, it sounded strained.

So exciting with the near hatches! Can’t wait to see all the babies that hatch from all your eggs on the thread!

My last set of eggs are on DAY 7. Of the original 14 I pulled 4 last week that were clearly not fertile, one of which was oozing.
Just pulled this blood ring/EQ today.
Down to 9.

Had two more chicks that needed a shoe this past hatch though both recovered nicely. One was a partial assist, the other one just had a slight curl on the one foot hatched on its own.

Sound like it may be in distress. If there has been an external pip for over 24 hrs, it might be shrink wrapped.
