Ivy,HELP guys
I have one chick ( possibly my last hatch) that's very sticky and weak. He has been hatched for a few hours now and not fluffed up at all.
I'm planning on giving him some molasses water and let him rest in the incubator but how can I wash him ? Wait till he is stronger ?
Thank you
Get a toothbrush and brush him with water. It'll take a couple of batches. If he's weak, listen to others more experienced than me. Make sure he's warm.

I'm leaving her and the last hatch before her in the incubator til morning so she can get all fluffed up and get her strength up, but I think she's ok. Her foot looks a little wonky(it was sticking out of the shell for a long time- may have lost some circulation because of this?)but she seems to be getting around pretty well. I'm so glad she made it! That makes 14 hatched out of the 16 that went into lockdown! More than I thought I'd get.
