They’re getting so big! She looks so tiny in that picture. Like a bantam but I thought I remembered her being a full sized bird.

She is a standard Leghorn but small, only about 3 lbs

They are ao cute! What breeds?

Barnyard mixes! Not from my flock and like 3rd or more generation mixes so a real mystery. Hopefully happy and healthy mutts.

I love mixes they always have more personality than the other. Good luck with them!

Dare I assume my July HAL chicks are both pullets???? We’ve gotten soooooo many cockerels this year. 5 weeks old and no hint of pink, wattles, etc

We can, but I am pretty sure we have at least 2 and I would only have room/enough ladies for 1 ;(

They turned 5 weeks today. These were taken about 2 days ago. Hard to tell by hackles, they are kinda barred but are rounded for now.
